The 2025 Tukuza Awards Gala was bigger, bolder, and smoother than ever. Behind the scenes, Quincy Creative powered the entire digital experience from nominations to voting, payments, ticketing, and event-day check-ins. Our goal was simple: deliver a fast, reliable, and transparent system that keeps the ceremony fair, modern, and seamless.

1. A fully Digital Nomination & Voting System for Tukuza Awards

We built an end-to-end nomination and voting platform designed for speed and accuracy.
Our system allowed:

a) Quick nominee submissions through a clean online form

b) Real-time verification to cut errors and duplicates among the submitted nominee data

c) Smooth public voting with fast-loading pages displaying all nominee details including the photos of their choice, their media content and links to share their profile and page to their fanbase.

d) Instant vote counting available publicly on the website which allowed all participants to monitor their votes as well as vote analytics for internal reporting

2. Secure M-pesa & Card Transactions

Running a nationwide award requires a payment system that is fast and trustworthy. We integrated:

  • M-Pesa STK Push
  • Online card payments
  • Automatic payment confirmation to eliminate the need to check whether transactions happened instead the system does the check and automatically provisions the votes

Artistes could invite their fans who would vote for them, purchase their tickets all done automatically without need for manual reconcilliations.

3. Smart Ticketing Plartform with QR Codes

For the Gala night, Quincy Creative provided a modern ticketing and check-in system.
We introduced:

  • Digital tickets with unique QR codes
  • Instant email and SMS confirmations
  • VIP and Regular ticket categorization
  • Dashboard for tracking sales and attendance

Guests did not need to print anything, just show their phone at the entrance. This simple change cut waiting time dramatically.

4. Fast Check-In & Check-Out Management

Our check-in and check-out system allowed the Tukuza team to scan guests quickly using mobile devices. The dashboard updated attendance in real time, allowing organizers to:
